Eclectek – Komiks Musik

Hmm…Eclectek. First of all, sorry about the lack of posts recently! It’s been impossible to keep this thing running efficiently on my own with uni and work commitments piling up. I intend to try a little harder from now on. I should have a little free time for the next 1/2 weeks, so I’ll try to get a load of reviews done and slowly leak them out to you all over a certain time frame.
Now that that’s out of the way, I guess I should introduce you to this rather…interesting band!
Well, they’re French, though most their songs are in English. It’s pretty obvious they have a sense of humour, though to be honestly it’s infantile and far from witty. The humour is definitely NOT why I am posting this record here.
I’m posting it here because it’s interesting and pretty damn catchy. I’d very hard to put into a genre, but it’s kinda similar to Mindless Self Indulgence, except with a pretty strong hip-hop influence. It’s very dance-worthy, and I’m consider playing it at a party (if I was the time to throw parties, which I’m not). They have two other freely available records at the moment, though this one seems to be most popular. Tell me if you enjoy it and I’ll upload the others!
